Welcome
Randall R. Hamill, Senior Pastor

Welcome to the Grove First United Methodist Church! Thanks for visiting us online. This is a growing church in a growing community. Grove is a wonderful place to live, serve and grow.

Our purpose is “Making disciples for Jesus Christ by building Christian community where the love of God is freely shared, the gospel of Christ is clearly encountered, and the Holy Spirit transforms life."

WHERE WE HAVE BEEN & WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE?

DARE TO DREAM, AND SHARE THE DREAM!

Please respond in the areas which you feel lead to comment.  We sincerely value your input and ideas.  Each of our ministry areas are listed along with a brief explanation of their contributions.  Feel free to comment on any area you feel lead to do so.  Also, there may be ministries that you do not feel that you have an opinion on.  Again, no response in an individual area is just fine.

We truly appreciate your thoughts, consideration, opinion and effort to come together with us as a Congregational Family to offer our opinions.

FamilyTrilogy

A Family Focus Trilogy

We are unfolding a trilogy of sermon series with exciting possibilities.  Beginning Sunday, April 26th and continuing through Sunday, July 5th, we will focus on three categories of family issues important to our day.  We invite you to join us as we focus our thoughts, hearts, and prayers on God's treasures - the nuclear family and the church family.

Family Focus I: "Faith and Finances": Keeping it together when the economy is falling apart.
Family Focus II: "The Gospel According To Disney": A
closer look at the portrayal of family values through animated film.
Family Focus III: "Let’s Do This Thing Together": P
lanning an intentional ministry future with passion and purpose.

This year is requiring us to change many things we do.  How will we best focus our prayer, presence, gifts, service, and witness to the common end of serving Christ in our world?

Royal Family Kids' Camps is another ministry of our church.  RFKC extends Christian love and care to abused & neglected children.  These camps create positive memories for abused and neglected children ages 7-11, in a one-week camp experience, and are located around the U.S.  This video describes the local camp in our area.  This year, the camp is from July 16-20 at Camp Joshua in Gentry, AR.

Vacation Bible School

At Camp E.D.G.E. Vacation Bible School, kids go on an action-packed, adrenaline-filled expedition to an Extreme Adventure Camp that teaches them their strength and might come from God.  This year, Vacation Bible School is July 13 - 17, 9:00am - NOON.  Participants and volunteers can signup now at:
