Summer is a favorite time for taking road trips--crucial experiences offering refreshment of body, soul, and spirit. Times away provide not only a change of pace from ordinary routines, but also bring new perspective on all of life. They can challenge us through unfamiliar territory, inform us by seeing new things, and prepare us for coming home with new appreciation for what we left behind and whatever mission is waiting for us to tackle. We are blessed this summer with a variety of special speakers and topics which will lead us on an interesting journey around the common theme of Road Trip. Via points will include making adequate preparation before departure, relying on adequate sources of information, being open to receive the new, and anticipating a home arrival with a new pair of eyes. Current Schedule

• August 8, Noon: Potluck, Preview & Registration--bring a side dish, salad, or dessert.⁽¹⁾
  
• August 10, 7:00pm: Preview & Registration⁽¹⁾ if you missed the first preview.
  
• August 22 6:00pm: Program starts and meets weekly, excluding Labor Day weekend.
  
• November 21: Last class and Celebration.

The weekly 2 hour class consists of a video presentation and small group discussion.  If you miss a Sunday evening, makeup days are Tuesday, 6:00pm and Wednesday, 9:00am.

(1) $85 (per family) registration cost for the course is discounted for FUMC and due at time of registration.
