Sunday_School

The Methodist movement was built on a combination of dynamic, meaningful worship and the discipline of
smaller group study and fellowship. In these smaller groups we a have the chance to develop close
friendships, give and receive support, wrestle intellectually with issues and concerns, and grow in grace
with our peers.

The purposes of Sunday School and other classes are to support the church by:

1. Providing a supportive, transforming community for children, youth and adults.

2. Teaching the structures and the application of Biblical truth to life

3. Developing strong lay leadership for service in the church

4. Fostering outreach to the world

FUMC offers many opportunities for spiritual growth through ongoing, short-term and one-time programs.
